• Identity & membership data — your English and Arabic names, membership ID, and account credentials.
• Contact data — email address, phone number, and shipping or billing address.
• Order & ownership data — purchases made through our Shopify store, the watches you own, serial numbers, gift details, and warranty records.
• Membership activity — events you register for, repairs you request, and communities you join within the Waqtun Club.
• NFC identifiers — the secure token associated with your Waqtun card, used to verify ownership and grant access. The card never stores your password or credentials.
• Technical data — cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in, plus basic device and log information.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Process orders, allocate and register your watch, and prepare and ship your package.
• Create and manage your membership, which is derived from watch ownership.
• Provide warranty, repair, event, and community services.
• Authenticate you through your account or NFC card.
• Communicate with you about your orders, membership, and requests via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
• Maintain the security, traceability, and integrity of our systems.

We use only strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in to your member or admin session. These cookies are essential to the operation of the Waqtun Club and cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in. We do not use advertising, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies. Because these cookies are essential, we do not require your consent to set them, though we display a short notice for transparency.

5. How we share your information

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us operate, and only as far as needed:

• Shopify — our sales and checkout platform.
• Payment processors — to handle payment securely (we do not store full card numbers).
• Shipping and logistics partners — to deliver your order.
• Communication providers — for transactional email, SMS, and WhatsApp messages.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run our platform.

Because every Waqtun watch is traceable for its lifetime, ownership and warranty records are retained for as long as necessary to provide our services and to meet legal and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of data that we are not required to keep.

We protect your account with server-side authentication and secure, HTTP-only session cookies. Your NFC card acts only as a secure identifier and never carries your credentials. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
